It is Canadian Mental Health week from May 5-11. The theme this year is “Unmasking Mental Health.” Our goal is to help students understand that taking care of our mental well-being is just as important as our physical health—and that it’s okay to talk about it!
Each day, we’ll explore a meaningful way to improve our mental health:
- Mindful Monday– Learning to slow down and be present.
- Talk About It Tuesday– Starting conversations about how we feel.
- Wellness Wednesday– Exploring healthy habits for body and mind.
- Thankful Thursday– Practicing gratitude and appreciation.
- Feel Good Friday– Doing things that bring us joy.
We will also be participating in Hats On! for Mental Health on Wednesday, May 7. Students are invited to wear a hat to school to raise awareness of the importance of mental health.
