Jr. High Students Learning From Home

The announcement by the Alberta Government means students in grades 7-9 will be staying home to learn from Monday, November 30 until Monday, January 11, 2021. We are really going to miss our junior high students, it won’t be the same without them! Christmas Break still falls at the same time as per the EIPS calendar, the last day of classes will be Tuesday, December 22. Students will follow their current timetable, attendance will be taken, they will access all content through their Brightspace account, and teachers will be meeting virtually with each class everyday. Fultonvale runs on a 6-day schedule and it can be a little confusing as to which day it is in the rotation. The easiest way to check is to visit our school calendar. Our staff has prepared students really well, but if you have questions or need support please don’t hesitate to contact us. Students in Kindergarten through grade 6 will continue to come to school. They will transition to online learning from January 6, 2021 to January 8, 2021. We will be sending details home regarding expectations and schedules in the next couple of weeks.

As always, we are following all guidelines from Alberta Health. We can’t tell you how much we appreciate your dedication to following health recommendations. We are increasingly thankful for what our community continues to do to ensure the safety of everyone.
