I hope you’re all enjoying a relaxing and fun-filled long weekend with family. While today is a school closure day, we have a busy week ahead at Fultonvale!
A couple of key reminders: Our School Council Meeting is on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., and we’d love to see you there as we discuss important topics, including next year’s school fees. Also, families must complete the Returning Student Registration before the February 24 deadline to confirm enrolment for the 2025-26 school year.

School Council Meeting - Tuesday, February 18 @ 7:00 pm
We are grateful to have a strong Fultonvale School Council who are committed to learning about the school, providing support to our programs and resources for students, and sharing input and feedback to the school for growth and improvement.
At this meeting we will be holding our second fee consultation for next year's school fees. We will be sharing information about fees for next year and results from the parent survey. Thank you to all families who provided feedback at last month's meeting and through the fees survey to inform next year fees.

Complete your Returning Student Registration: February 10-24
Elk Island Public Schools’ (EIPS) returning student registration process is now open. All current students, except Grade 12, must complete the online Returning Student Registration Form to confirm their enrolment in a school and program for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. Additionally, students who want to attend a non-designated school or program need to make that request through the returning student registration process—acceptance is based on available space. All current EIPS students are required to complete the form by Feb. 24, 2025.
To complete your child’s returning student registration, refer to the Returning Student Registration Form email you received from Elk Island Public Schools through Permission Click on February 10. Families will receive one email for each student. No log in is required to complete the form.

Hot Lunch
Hot Lunch Update – Plan Ahead for the Remainder of the Year!
Happy Monday, FTV families! As we continue through cold and flu season, we understand that unexpected absences can happen. Please remember that once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled unless it is at least five days before the lunch date. However, if your child is away, you have options:
✅ Donate the lunch to a staff member, student, or volunteer
✅ Pick it up from the office at noon
✅ Have a sibling bring it home
If your child will be away on a scheduled hot lunch day, please contact Carrie at ceckersley78@gmail.com to let her know your preference.
We also encourage families to check their child’s field trip schedules on the Fire Wire Blog or school calendar before placing orders for the rest of the year. This will help ensure your child doesn’t miss out on their meal.
