Alberta Health Emergency Update

Due to high COVID numbers in the province, the government declared a public health emergency and new restrictions on Wednesday. Operations at Fultonvale remain largely unchanged. We are waiting for clarifications from Alberta Education and Alberta Health Services, so Elk Island Public Schools can amend the EIPS Operations Guidelines 2021-2022 accordingly. 

Daily screening requirements remain in place using the Alberta Health Daily Checklist. If you answer “Yes” to any questions, stay home and use the COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool for further guidance. If your child(ren) is sick, please keep them home and use the COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool for further guidance. Hand sanitizing and masking will continue. Extra-curricular activities and field trips are allowed and we will continue to be as safe as possible.
